California…Here I Come!

I entered a contest from The Cheesecake Factory a few months ago called “When Wishes Become Delicious” where you would enter by stating what you would like to wish for and it could be anything associated with The Cheesecake Factory. For all of you who know me personally, I joke around a lot and have a flirtatious personality. So just jokingly, I said “I wish to go on a date with a gorgeous single Italian man to The Cheesecake Factory”.

I never in a million years thought that I would get a phone call while standing in the middle of Forever 21 telling me that my wish was going to come true.

Now here is the even more crazy part. I put in a request for a certain someone to go on the date with. I have wanted to meet this guy for two years ever since he was on Jillian’s season of The Bachelorette.  I fell in love with his ‘love for life’ personality and his genuine down-to-earth nature. I know it sounds super lame, but every time I’d see him on the television screen I wouldn’t be able to stop smiling.

Here I am two years later, being flown to LA on Valentine’s Day, to stay at a four star hotel, and eat dinner at The Cheesecake factory with someone I have been wanting to meet for two years – Michael Stagliano. At the risk of sounding cheesy, I think I fell for the guy on TV.  WOAH TOTALLY CHEESY. Woah. I’m sorry I had to! Anyways, I’m really excited to meet him! This is an opportunity of a lifetime and it just goes to show: Take a chance because you never know. Good karma will find its way to you.
